No formal teaching qualification is required — but we do look for passion, professionalism, and dedication to your students.
Strong playing ability on the instrument(s) you wish to teach. You should be able to teach confidently at all levels up to the grades you specify.
RequiredA short video (up to 2 minutes) introducing yourself and your teaching approach. This is often the first thing students see — make it count.
RequiredA clear, recent headshot photo. Students connect better with teachers who have a friendly, professional profile photo.
RequiredRIAM, ABRSM, Trinity, or other music teaching qualifications strengthen your profile and can justify higher rates.
