Each teacher on MusicStudio sets their own lesson price. This means prices vary from teacher to teacher, reflecting differences in experience, qualifications, specialist skills, and demand.
Intro lesson pricing
Every teacher offers a 25-minute introductory lesson at a reduced price — specifically, half their normal 25-minute rate. This is designed to make it easy and affordable to try a new teacher before committing to regular lessons.
Regular lesson pricing
Regular lessons are 50 minutes long and charged at the teacher's standard hourly rate. The price is shown clearly on each teacher's profile before you book.
Why prices differ
A higher price does not automatically mean a better teacher for your needs. Factors that influence a teacher's rate include:
- Years of teaching experience
- Formal qualifications and performance background
- Specialist genres or exam preparation expertise
- Supply and demand for their instrument
